Two Days of Hope: Free HLA Typing Camp at Jammu

Apr 26, 2026

In Collaboration with SMGS Hospital | Strengthening the Lifeline of Stem Cell Donation | 25th–26th April 2026

On 25th and 26th April 2026, a two-day Free HLA Typing Camp was successfully conducted in Jammu at SMGS Hospital, in collaboration with their dedicated team. This initiative marked another meaningful step towards expanding the stem cell donor registry and bringing renewed hope to patients awaiting life-saving transplants.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation over both days, reflecting a growing awareness and a compassionate willingness within the community to contribute to this noble cause. Each registration represented the possibility of a life saved—a second chance for patients battling severe blood disorders.

Beyond donor enrolment, the camp served as an important platform to educate individuals about the significance of HLA matching and the impact of timely stem cell transplantation. The collaboration stood as a powerful example of how institutions can come together with a shared purpose—to extend hope, save lives, and make a lasting difference in the community.
