Renovated Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit

On 27 April 2026, the Department of Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) Transplantation at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, marked the reopening of its renovated Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit on the 4th Floor.

The renovated unit has been thoughtfully upgraded to provide a safer, more comfortable, and patient-friendly environment while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. These enhancements strengthen our ability to deliver comprehensive stem cell transplantation services, including autologous, allogeneic, matched sibling, matched unrelated donor (MUD), and haploidentical transplants.

This renovation reflects our ongoing commitment to improving patient care, supporting clinical innovation, and expanding access to advanced haematology and transplant services.
