Free HLA Typing Camp Organized in Hoshiarpur

On 14 May 2026, the Department of Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) Transplantation at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, organized a Free HLA Typing Camp in Hoshiarpur as part of its ongoing outreach initiative.

The camp aimed to facilitate early identification of potential stem cell donors and improve access to life-saving transplantation for patients with blood disorders such as thalassemia, aplastic anaemia, and blood cancers. Eligible patients and their family members underwent free HLA typing, along with expert counselling on stem cell transplantation, donor matching, and treatment options.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to extending specialized haematology services beyond the hospital, increasing awareness about stem cell transplantation, and bringing advanced healthcare closer to communities across the region.
