Free HLA Typing Camp held at Civil Hospital, Jalandhar

The Department of Clinical Haematology organized a Free HLA Typing Camp at Civil Hospital, Jalandhar to facilitate donor matching for patients requiring bone marrow transplantation. A total of 30 thalassemia patients attended the camp, out of which 6 patients underwent HLA testing for potential BMT compatibility. The initiative aimed to expand access to essential diagnostic services, raise awareness about stem cell transplantation, and support families in exploring curative treatment options for blood disorders.
